This is SunFighterComix...

SunFighterComix is an ongoing experiment of webpage design and artwork dedicated to manga style-Comix and experiments with animation.

I am undergoing a rethink of this site.  The sad fact is that if you mention anything about the more lurid sides of manga and Anime, even if it is to educate people, you wind up with stats that reflect thousands of hits by people looking for nothing more than perverted and pornographic content of the worst kind.  and I simply will not feed into that.
So to counter this trend, I am creating my world anew.

And I think I am just going to keep the term 'Anime' for my animation projects not because I want to be like the Japanese Anime Industry,.. not at all... they have their works and styles... I want to create my own.  Whether it be clay-mation or stop-motion or hand done onion-skinned and single-celled digital work,.. or flip-book even!  Who cares?  I just want to do my graphic art and see what comes out.  That and giving folks something to resource for creations of their own is what it is all about to me!

Well I have decided that I am going to stick to the term "Comix" instead of 'Manga' because (1) I am not Japanese, and (2) Comix is me and my studio!!!  And anyway,  either people will read the pages or they won't !  If you do, THANK YOU ! ! !

Just upgraded my hosting server!  Was looking at the stats, and found that the search strings were all OTAKU !  WOW !  That is a major compliment...  So I better get off my dead derrier, and get to my projects for you all!

About this project:

This is an evolutionary project to produce with a single desktop computer, comix (or in the 'mode d'jour: "Manga") and animations or Anime.  The project is designed with an outline to use only computer and digital equipment pertinent to the process, and standard hand-drawing materials and art tools.  My goal is not only to produce work from my studio but to show the entirety of the process to those that want to find information on 'how-to's' and watch me both fail and succeed, so that they too can emulate the process in their own settings or workspaces and not have to make so many mistakes.
And hopefully you will find this information helpful, simple and easy to follow.  If you love drawing, design and animation and creative art as much as I do, then it is my goal to make this site as 'future artist friendly' as I can make it.  So if you see it change from day to day or even hour to hour, well that is part of the on-going and evolutionary process.  With Spring coming on now, I will be adding to the site more and more as I can get to the work.

Download HTML-kit a really nifty little HTML editor. I have made it my standard webpage editor. FrontPage 2006 was a really good editor, however it has a malware code contained in it, and though I was informed it was fixed,.. my Kaspersky Labs Anti-Virus software goes into overload when an attempt to install FrontPage 2006 is made. So goodbye FP2006! HTML-Kit is now my editor!~
