This page is an experimental space to inter-relate various softwares with the end product being a viewable and animated graphic display. In this example I made use of three applications: Adobe PhotoShop 7, Manga Studio 3.0 (EX), and Adobe Flash CS3 Pro.. My experiment involved animating a manga page that I had drawn in PS, then taken in and 'inked' in MS and finally animated with layers in Flash. And though you cannot export MS files to Flash, you can import from MS (if you have made a 'copy' when saving the .cga files in MS) the resulting .jpg. Another note on this is to make sure you 'flatten' the layers and then (in MS) 'change layer type' to 'vector' from 'raster'. I was able to import the full image including the 'tones'. I realize the animation is extremely rough and the background is not properly proportioned, but considering this was done in a spurt of experimentation with my new 'toy', I would say I am pleased. I have no doubt much better work will be shortly forthcoming!Just wait until I start experimenting with Anime Studio 5.5 Pro... |
